Prepaid SIM from Coles - SIM Missing?

Hi, I bought a prepaid Boost SIM from Coles late November.

The package was sealed. I opened it today and the actual SIM was missing. I was in the process of activating it and decided to open it up to double check if the SIM was in the packaging. The SIM was missing. It has happened to me a few times in the past.

My question is, has it happened to anyone else?

I am sure the answer is yes.

I find it so stupid to remove a SIM card from a packaging and hope that someone will activate it and save in this case $12. Strange world…

  I contacted Boost online.

  They told me to bring it to Coles for a refund. All good. Still very strange….

    Insider job? They possibly line up the person who buys it with the sim they have pilfered, via internal access to receipts.
    End use/motive could have multiple agendas..

  I went through a stage of changing 3 sims every month. Now i just get the yearly ones. Never had a missing Sim

  It has happened to me a few times in the past.

  Wow, how many times exactly?

  I buy about 5 data sims each month, and never happened to me.
