Just looking at the other Hitman deal and people noted that World of Assassination wasn't on sale. I guess someone on Steam listening to OzBargain.

also it was at this exact price when I clicked on that original deal. this isn't a 'new' discount.
From Reddit:
Part One basically gives you access to HITMAN 1 - GOTY Edition within the H3/WoA launcher.
That means you get the first 6 main locations of the trilogy (Paris to Hokkaido) and all their content, plus the ICA Facility tutorial, the Summer Bonus Episodes (3 bonus missions), the Patient Zero campaign, the GOTY Escalations, access to the H1 Elusive Targets whenever they come out. Also gives you access to Contracts Mode within those locations, and I think it gives you access to parts of the Elusive Target Arcade too.
It does not give you access to any of the content from the other games however. That means no Freelancer Mode for you. You gotta buy the Upgrade Pack to get the rest of the trilogy.

This went on sale on the 12th December FYI
Thanks! Bought cause cheap. Will probably never play though.
Remember kids, a dollar saved is a dollar earned
iO interactive's braindead pricing scheme makes this very difficult to understand what you are actually getting
It is very annoying yes. You get Hitman (2016) in a slightly upgraded engine. It's good! Worth four bucks.
Yes I get that now. Its purely designed to lure in the unsuspecting customer like me who already has had the first two games and just wants the third.
I think it's because they want a point of entry which isn't a full priced game (since they now sell all the content for all three games at the price of one full priced game). But the outcome is more confusion.
i stopped buying hitman when their purchasing got stupid complex.
nobody said this
