Titan isn’t the only submarine operated by these kinds of controllers - every US Naval port has Xbox controllers available for their submarines

At the end of the day, what difference does it make what controller is used? A $30 plastic shell of buttons that does the same thing as a multi-million dollar plastic shell of buttons (which is what the Xbox controller replaced) isn’t the issue - it’s what it’s controlling that needs to be of a high standard

Buy an 8bitdo off aliexpress instead and enjoy life more.
I got an 8bitdo Ultimate 2C for under $40 the other week and it is great. Wouldn't know it was cheaper than an Xbox controller, and just works flawlessly. Battery life is great too (though i'm used to the PS5 Dualsense these days which has abysmal battery)
I bought the 8bitdo Pro2 for $55 just a couple weeks ago. Hall effect joysticks are wonderful. I’ve got one of these logitechs in the cupboard somewhere. It’s over a decade old tech - heavy & lacks features. Go 8bitdo instead

Pay a little extra and get an 8bitdo. I have one of these and the rubber backing eventually deteriorated and became an icky sticky mess
Looks like the Ultimate 2C is $50 delivered at the moment on AliExpress but I got mine for $39 a few weeks ago and it is much better than this.
I have two of these and exactly the same thing has happened. Also years ago my og xbox wireless logitech also became like this too. Agreed get yourself a good 8bitdo.

Yeah nah. Better controllers out there now. Old design, old tech, works? Sure. But there's better options.
It's alright but it is really old, have a couple of these and they have intermittent connection issues with windows 11

These are ancient and I honestly can't believe they're still being sold. Get an 8BitDo Ultimate (or really any controller from one of the reputable budget brands like GameSir, 8BitDo, etc) and it'll run rings around this and be more comfortable to boot.

I used to use the wired F310 controller over a decade ago - it handled terribly but I didn't know any better at the time. Wouldn't go back to this outdated product given what's available now.
It's also incredibly unergonomic compared to modern controllers… I only bought one because it was before Tesla had announced bluetooth controller support.
