How are these? The ozito has a few prone to failure parts

    • Yeah. Just going by reviews I still haven't seen a battery powered sprayer that seems like it will go the distance - including this Mak. I love the idea, but haven't been game to buy one.

Happy to hear accounts otherwise though.

    • While I haven't used it, I was looking to pick one up a few weeks back but was put off by the reviews I read. Apparently prone to leaks and poorly designed.

    • I’ve had one for a few months and have used it twice.
Works very well and doesn’t leave too much in the bottom of the tank.
Seems solid so hopefully will outlast it’s 5 year warranty.

I have the 15l version. Can't fault it. My only complaint is that the fan spray nozzle that comes with it pumps out so much liquid that you get through the 15l very quickly. The size of the spray also makes it a bit tricky to direct the spray exactly where you want it. I'm used to a circular/cone shaped adjustable spray nozzle so will have to try and find a nozzle that fits or try to adapt my old one.

  • I think Ozito one is better deu to its hassle free warranty claims

I think this is a much betrter deal considering the 5 year warranty from bunnings and $20 battery and charget combo:

That must be very new as I haven't seen it before and only a few stores have it in stock.

I have been eyeing the Ryobi back sprayer for a while but at $299 it was hard to justify - the Ozito should do the trick nicely. I've been using the 7.5L Ozito sprayer for quite a while without issues with the unit itself - just my arm gets tired quite quickly holding it while I walk around - the vibration from the pump probably doesn't help with that…

    • According to youtube comments on the Einhell review, the last 2L of liquid is unusable because the pump doesn't sit low enough in the tank.

      • Thanks for letting us know, however, at least it is a in a backpack style

Pointless buy. Just get a cheap manual one. They work great. You only need to pump here and there, most of the time just spraying. Costs close to nothing towards these.

$16.95. 5 litres. You can buy bigger ones, but it takes close to an hour to go through the 5l.

    • Yea totally agree with this. A manual one requires pumping for a few minutes and you're pretty much set.
This type of battery powered tool is only if you have too much money to burn.
