Best Way to Book Business Class Flights to South America (Feb 11 to Mar 11)

Looking for tips on the best way to book business class flights to South America. Travel dates are February 11 to March 11, 2025, but I can be a bit flexible if it helps with price or availability.

Open to using points, miles or cash fares. Aware of options like LATAM, Qantas and American Airlines, but keen to hear if there are any hidden gems or booking strategies people have used.

Any advice on routes, best times to book, stopover tricks or tips for points redemptions would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

South America is a big place, depends which country your going to.

    • Looks like only Chile has direct flights. And flexible between chile, peru, brazil, argentina

  • For 1 pax?

Must you fly business class? Are the peasants in coach not to your standard?

  • @OP … exactly how many points do you have ? which airline ???
Krisflyer would be my personal option (as I'm Virgin orientated).

    Virgin (business ?) —> Singapore … Reward seats ???
then Singapore Air —> South America (Kris-Flyer points).

+++ you can convert Virgin points to Kris-Flyer (if you didn't already know).

    • Singapore Airlines doesn't fly to South America.

Actually when I spoke to some Singaporeans in Chile, they told me their most direct route to Santiago was with a stop over in Sydney, then flying LATAM or Qantas!

Routes from where to where? There will be a big difference if you're in Perth as to being in Sydney. Your post is too vague.

It’s normally cheaper to buy a return ticket to Los Angeles $1400 then then a return or multi city flight to South America from Lax

You won't be getting to LA for $1400 in business unless it's on points. 😉

(Not much on points - only PE from SYD-SCL on 11/2.)

      • Yes $1400 was for economy Mel-lax in feb 25
Op has 30000 points isn’t going too far with that.

        • But the OP asked for business class…
