Retro Arcade Pandoras Gaming Deck $249 (Was $400) + Delivery (Free to Main Cities) @ Electro Arcade

100

Wide steel case Pandora Box Arcade Setup with modular quality components.
Joysticks are a great Sanwa clone and buttons can take a ton of mashing.
LED strip lights up cutout arrows.
The gameboard is set to 4:3 reducing image stretching.
It comes with a 128GB MicroSD card that is unlocked so you can adjust settings and remap through config files.
If you're into dabbling, adding new cores can be tricky, but it can be achieved by editing the database and adding the correct files.
It's set up to emulate arcade classics and consoles, including N64, Dreamcast, PS1, PSP, Genesis, Gameboy platforms, and more.
The gameboard supports optional light guns.
Steel Case has 2 holes that should line up with the older Arcade1UP arcade machines - remove their panel and add this with a display encoder board.

  • Hey mate how are the light guns compared to Sinden? Cheers

    • They use a single IR bar either above or below screen as opposed to the Sinden white box.
On PC they are seen and compatible with AimTrak software.
I think they work quite well, however if you're using on a massive screen over 70", there's a lot of screen to cover so you will need at least 3+metres from screen and could lose gun snappines/speed when reaching corner edges which you don't usually do anyway.
As an example on a 21" screen super fast.
Have a few Sindens, but had issues getting them going, so can't offer a true comparison in responsiveness.
Here is house of the dead running the same board and lightgun setup.

      • Do the guns have recoil? Cheers

        • Yes, lightgun cable splits off at end into two. 1x USB type A and 1x power 2.5 barrel.
The recoil can be turned off by disconnecting the power barrel and only leaving USB connected.

          • @electroarc: Thanks for coming back. Just one more cause you mentioned about screen size I wanted to confirm if I'm using a 65 inch would it be bad

            • @jstar168: I test on a 65" Plasma and totally fine. Just ensure you have enough space to step back 2-3 meters from the screen.

  • There’s option genuine sanwa joystick but no option for the button.
How about the board? Any lag on fighting games?

    • Hi, there's a Sanwa option for the joystick, however, most are happy with the standard Sanwa clone joystick and Baolian buttons as the are pretty good.
As this uses arace components all bits can be upgraded when or if needed.
The board runs well, you may notice the occasional glitch on some games, but overall pretty spot on - this is one of the better boards.
For example, all MK and SF titles play well. One of my test favourites is Ridge Racer.

  • Do you sell the display encoder boards? I tried searching on the site but had no luck.

    • +1

Hi, for arcade 1up I assume? yes we do, just too busy to list everything we have. Also gets a bit tricky with all the different gens. We've tried all our upgrades on our Rampage test mule and works a treat. Reach out via our website if you like.

      • That's the same 1up I have sitting at home that I'm wanting to upgrade. I'll jump on the website and ask there. Thanks for the fast reply.

        • cool, got some SF artwork for the complete cab too if you're keen. reach out :-)
