    Fun game, especially when it sticks to the free running. Real shame it didn't do well enough to merit a threequel.

    The first one was one of the most unique games of the last 20 years IMHO. Second was pretty good too although obviously lost some of the initial impact of the first.

    Is it playable anymore without workarounds? Recent steam review

    "literally not possible to play anymore due to EA shutting down the servers and not removing their denuvo from the game

    it tries to connect to a non-existent server forever after the intro cutscene and it just never gets past it

    you can apparently bypass it by deleting some files/folders and killing your internet (on EVERY launch) as soon as that loading screen starts but I can't be bothered to do that as I just wanted to replay it after finishing it on ps4 before"

      You can redirect the offending server to localhost in your hosts file and it will work:

      127.0.0.1 winter15.gosredirector.ea.com

      That's the Linux syntax. You'll have to adapt that if you're a Windows user.

      Perfectly reasonable to not buy this game, though.

    Fun game, I enjoyed the art style/setting of the first game more but this was still a nice breath of fresh air

    Definitely worth for this price (if it works, that is)

    I have PTSD from this game, I believe it was the demo, killed my (at the time) beast of a computer with heavy artefacts.
    For $2.99 - would tempt fate again.
