I have had a 2025 diary on order with Amazon for 3 weeks now.
They are unable to advise when this will ship but are stating "it is still on track to arrive on time"………
A diary without dates, untamed,
Pages blank, but thoughts are named.
No numbers mark the fleeting time,
Just whispers of a silent rhyme.
It holds the secrets of the day,
Of moments lost, of words left stray,
No ticking clock to guide the pen,
Just feelings stitched together then.
Each page a place to spill the soul,
No need for dates to make it whole.
A memory, perhaps, a dream untold,
Its stories gentle, never old.
In this quiet book, there's no demand,
No future calls, no past to stand.
The ink may fade, but hearts remain,
In timeless echoes, still the same.
So let it rest, this book of light,
Without the weight of day or night.
A diary, free from hours' chase,
Where moments find their lasting place.
Thankyou ChatspearGPT
It gets better……
I thought I would check with Amazon to get some idea of a delivery date.
Their AI powered chat stated: "Looks like your order is now being packed for shipment" - OK, that is good.
then goes on to state "we expect it to get to you by Wednesday 8th January 2025" - that is not so good.
Time to get a hold of a human. They supply the following which raises more questions than it answers….. "Pickup Date 2025-01-14 02:00 AEDT" & "Delivery Date 2025-01-23 AEDT".
The chances of actually receiving this in the year 2025 is starting to look questionable.

Does it come with a free frogurt?
The frogurt is also late.
What you describe is Australia Post at's it's absolute best with Express Post.
Same rubbery tracking, more questions than answers,no chance of it arriving in a timely fashion. The difference of course is with APost you pay a mortgage rate cost to get the so called Express option.
They should rename it Oxymoron Express Post. I know it's Xmas etc, but AP uses even more 'handy' year round excuses from a book that rivals The Would You Believe Almanac. A derailment in one state affects all others. A flood is the gift that keeps giving. etc. As for consistency, one pkg may arrive on time from the furthest point, 12 others from the same state could take weeks to leave a depot. Some depots are black holes of productivity. You can often get 3 scans and zero fwd movement on a regular basis.
I have items like that as well it's been many months. ordered during tempoerarily out of stock.
but it doesn't take your money from you unless it ships right?
What I am wondering - if my Prime membership expires before this ships, will I then get charged for freight?
NO
A diary without dates—how poetic.
