Do you know what the difference is between the one on the Lenovo main website vs the one in the Lenovo Outlet store? - both claims to be new and specs look identical but significant price differences - model numbers vary - that's it?

Their outlet prices not really very outlet anymore that used to be …

  • No OLED screen, NO DEAL.

      Lol… some prefer IPS.

Agnostic but OLED does look sweet, but matte IPS is just more usable if working under lights. So use case.

Also if your going to be mainly using it on battery you'll get longer battery life out of an ips display vs OLED.

        • It's a gloss touch screen with IPS - so it looks almost on par with OLED quality and colour without the battery drain

Does cashback work on the outlet prices?

  • Any one have feedback on the delivery times when ordered from the outlet store? Chatting with the online CSAs, they suggested 2-3 weeks which seems odd if it's in the outlet (would have thought it would be immediate shipping).

thats odd, I ordered once before, stock & warehouse is in Sydney, arrived just after 2 days

      • Awesome, good to know, thanks

  • Was anyone able to add the $1 premium warranty option?

Seems to reference an App (Smart Care) - might be on the laptop itself.

I just bought a couple of these for the folks in the Black Friday sales. They were $1997, supposedly marked down from the price give on the Lenovo main site.

They seem pretty great so far. Note that the OLED versions (in other markets, don’t think they have the OLED version here yet) isn’t touch screen. Whereas the IPS one is.

They have similar speed and screen and battery life to the 15” MacBook Airs. Finally LOL

  • these will be $1,500 after Xmas

  • Might as well just get a MacBook at this price, as it doesn't have the price competitiveness of windows anymore

    • Yeah after watching again lots of YT reviews, at its full price, most saying should come with OLED, and also sacrificing a usb-c port as charging, you might need to carry a hub around … if outlet really back to the real bargain price like $1200, then will be a good buy, else as you said better just get MB for much longer lasting!

  • @Look Up thoughts?

  • Does Outlet = Open Box (even for Condtion = New) items?
