Thanks for spotting this OP. $20 / $200 for me.

They offered me $30 cashback for $200 spent. How do I spend $200 at Coles for just myself? Come on, CommBank!

    • +9

You can get gift cards. I have done that in last year and have always got cashback. I buy the Coles gift card and then use it to shop as and when.

Was just about to edit the comment after I reread the post. Yeah, that makes it great. Ta

I just withdraw the spend in cash at checkout. Buy $3 milk, withdraw $50/100 cash. Comes up as $3 spend but total $103 on the statement. Cashback comes in about a week later no probs. Me and the missus both do this every month

        Legend mate. Thanks for that!

Sorry, /u/browser raised a good point below - I never even thought about if you had a credit card, my experience is with Yello on a debit card so I've never cashed out on CC and if there are extra fees

      • I don't see how that would work with a credit card, you can't withdraw cash at Coles with one.

    • I'll be stacking mine with the $60 off $200 liquor spend for extra Christmas Cheer! Beer!

  • $10 off $200 here!!! Can’t see that happening.

Should mention getting cash out with a purchase counts too, OP. We do this all the time without issues and others have reported the same in previous posts

    • For credit cards, if the account was in credit the previous business day and in enough credit to cover the cash out amount, am I reading it correct $4 is the maximum fee to cash out $200 (no interest)? So on a 30/200 offer, it will cost $174 for $200 cash.

      • Ah thats a good point - I've only experienced it on a debit card, and not cashed out on a credit card

      • +1

You won't be able to withdraw cash from a credit card at Coles.

    • +1

Can confirm that purchase is unnecessary. Cash out by itself is sufficient :)

  • Got 30/200, but already accumulated few hundred in GC from previous CBA/Amex/Myer deals and redeem from points. Plus all the Woolworths reward points from recent Vanilla deals. Will need to take a break.

  • I always get $10 off $200. Dont spend that much in a single shop at Coles ever.

Get a gift card or cashout.

Previously always $5 on $50, this time $5 on $100, but still no problem thanks to cash out with debit card :)

The cash out method also worked for the similar offer at Supabarn.

  • $5 on $100 spend

  • 20/200 for me - will go get some GC

Never got a Coles offer on my combank Yello.
In fact, never had an offer I have used on combank Yello yet. Been through support/ complaints to see if something is wrong with mine.rm They say all is normal.

All I have for 3 months is 30% off at Youfoodz…yawn…

So its gold for some, complete trash for others. Rubbish bank for me.

    • What level Yellow do you have, the highest level gets all the offers.

      • Umm… levels? I have Yello level Yello???

        • That's why you are not getting the deal lol

    • Do you make 5 transactions?

      • -3

The Shopback/Westpac deals doesn’t require these sort of minimum transactions, talking about how strict Yello is given the billions in consecutive quarter profits they’re making.

  • $10/$200
    I will pass this time

  • Anyone else on Everyday Plus (top level below 'Homeowner') and not seeing the Coles offer?

They gave me a $10 off $50 spend at JB though.

I got $5 off $50 and as OP has pointed out this does appear to be monthly every mid-month. I hope this re-occurring mid-month deal continues.

I will reserve my upvote on this deal and continue to observe because over the last Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, there were no deals from Yello.

  • Just activates $10/100, but how do you buy giftcard? Usually there are purchasing fee for a physical giftcard o recall. Can I buy eGiftcard on Coles online?

    • +2

Just get the Coles gift cards. They have no purchasing fee.
