Previous discussions suggest: probably.
Just did a quick Google search, and it's not 100% clear but people did say the UK requires phones to come with a 2 year warranty.
I also wonder about this working after the 3G network shutdown and the issues with overseas device compatibility.
Regarding bands, Australia gets the US model vs this, the GB model. Only a few different bands, none of relevance to Australia, is my conclusion.
What's relevant is whether the telco's deem it compliant or not.
@McFly: OK, good to know. But I assume this would not be a problem in practice for a popular model like this? Lots of foreign travelers would be using them on roaming I'm guessing. (Did not buy this phone in any event, waiting for a bit cheaper.)
Only downside is all the AI answers end with "init!" or "Guv'na".
Or call you a "Git"
and a chav will probably snatch it from you while you're on the tube
Every time you make a call it starts raining.
Hahahahaha!
Xmas boxing day sale is coming. Not worth it at this minor discount.
yea paid this price at launch
Just be very cautious buying imported phone, may get blacklisted by telcos
Mobile phones are meant to be portable everywhere, more or less, no?
Umm… yes, mobile phones are… phones that are mobile…
Would this have a 1 year warranty instead of 2 like in Australia?
