What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Monthly subscription cashback will only be awarded after the second billed month.
  • Cashback is ineligible on any free trials.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards and/or use of gift cards for payment.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know

  • Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they will prevent your order from tracking.
  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

What to do and when

  • Missing cashback claims must be lodged within 100 days of purchase.

  • I just got the $4.99 per month deal for 12 months…

    • +2

yeah, but it's not really worth that is it?

      • It now includes SkyNews

        • +1

Ah well, the advantage of living in the country, it's free on Ch53/56

          • -1

@M00Cow: It now also includes sport channels

            • @jv:

              includes sport channels

              with ads.

and not AFL/NRL on Saturdays. I can watch Ch7/9 on FTA for that

NRL and AFL footy on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays (simulcast games) during the regular season

              • -1

                @M00Cow:

                with ads.

                So does Kayo

                @M00Cow:

I can watch Ch7/9 on FTA for that

not with pause / time shift

                • @jv: I can with my fetch box. So what are you paying $5/mth for again? HD TV full of ads, I get that free already. For $60/yr you can get Disney in Turkey.

but seriously are you locked in for 12mths at $5/mth

as $79-$25 = $54 so slightly cheaper. and how are the ads? at the start/end of shows only? or in the middle?

This is about Binge, not fetch box…

                    • @jv:

not with pause / time shift

but same feature, but free with fetchbox

                      • @M00Cow:

                        but free with fetchbox

                        fetchbox isn't free

                        • @jv: optus gave me one for free.

Same, the cancelling subscription service (hubbl) is one of the worst, you have ask to unsubscribe (which is kind of convoluted and confusion) and then it takes days for them to cancel your subscription, i ended up having to use a different email and phone number to sign up for $4.99 as my current sub took so long to cancel.

  • +1

Does anyone actually subscribe to Binge?

    Basic (1 stream)
    $10/mth $79/yr
    Standard (2 streams)
    $19/mth $149/yr
    Premium (4 streams)
    $22/mth $179/yr

Losing HBO and WWE shortly, so they’re very keen to get people locked in for 12 months whilst that content is still there.

    • +6

Without HBO, there is barely anything worth watching on Binge. When is this happening and where will all the HBO shows go?

      • +3

Agree… to me Binge = HBO. not much good without that content IMO.

      • +3

Streaming platform HBO Max will be coming to Australia and other key Asian markets in the first half of next year.

        https://www.adnews.com.au/news/hbo-max-will-be-coming-to-aus…

Foxtel/Binge will be scratching for content if all the WB content is removed.

Warner Bros. Discovery. The platform offers content from the libraries of Warner Bros., Discovery, HBO, CNN, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Animal Planet, TBS, TNT, Eurosport.

No wonder they've been flogging Hubbl, it's the only way they'll make money for streaming by taking the icing off everyone elses cake.

    • Lol WWE is still a thing?

    • yay…even more fragmentation of the streaming market…

      • yeah I wonder how long before some aggregator service comes along offering content from multiple services that are 6+ months old? Sort of how FTA used to operate.

  • +1

I had Binge for about 3 months and got to watch/rewatch some of their best shows like HOTD, GOT, True Detective, The Wire, Veep, Penguin etc. It was genuinely a surprise they had all these great series because I was just wanting to watch Veep initially before I realised it was an aussie HBO. Now that they are all going away, I have no interest in Binge.

  • hey @tightarse
do you know when this offer will expire and how many days (after signup) will cashback be paid out?

    • +1

Hey! We launched BINGE just today on TCB and these rates will be valid until BINGE decides to pull or change them. Cashback will be approved around 14 weeks after signup (estimated). Hope this helps.

WebOS TV with YouTube AdFree is killer

Set TV DNS to AdGuard to block ads in browser and enjoy streaming sites for $0

    • +1

This sounds nice. Got more detailed instructions?

  • Binge has the worst Firetv app, constant crashing and hangs while watching, not to mention an awful UI to find anything…
