Stellar price on these. In my experience these have been outstanding. I found the noise cancelling better than the Bose QC ultra or the Sony XM5. They sound great and integration with the Sonos soundbar is excellent.

this or xm5?
depends if you have the sonos ecosystem or not.
if you have sonos ray/arc/beam then you can consider this. it's for the audio swap feature.
Sennheiser Momentum 4. Sonos audio quality is crap, ANC is hit and miss, Sony has better ANC but needs significant EQ and audio quality is inferior to the Sennheiser.
I’ve owned all of the headphones listed above and for me, the Sonos ace are the pick of the litter. To me, they sound great. In saying that I’m not an audiophile. In my use case which is the drone of office noise I found the Sonos ace the most effective noise cancelling. In saying that the Sennheiser momentum for and their exceptional battery life were fantastic. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them.
I think the real separator here is that codec and fidelity wise the Sennheisers drive for more, and that can easily be unlocked on music streaming services these days. Add to that you could have had them for over $200 less 3 weeks ago and it's a really good pick if you needed a new portable headphone.
Sony's adaptive ANC really does more for most people than the extra 6 dB the Sonos can do in the bass, plus I'd imagine Sony will patch up their noise cancelling in that range in next year's model.
This
I am going to stand by and wait. I reckon they will go down in price even more.
Of course they will, along with every other piece of tech.
The question is how long are you willing to wait?
Might as well wait until you're old and deaf and have natural noise cancellation tech :D
Both colours available
same price gg commercial sadly
This is a cracking deal. I paid almost $100 more back in August. ~$545
They’re not for everyone, but they sound decent and are comfy.
Having Bluetooth multi-pairing + TV Audio Swap lets me have 3 devices connected fairly seamlessly. Phone + desk TV over Bluetooth, and main TV via Audio Swap.
Some lag with Audio Swap, running off a Beam Gen 2, presumably beefier soundbars would perform better.
