BlueAnt X5i 120-Watt Bluetooth Party Speaker with 2 Wireless microphones $299 (RRP $479) Delivered @ Telstra

170

Telstra has an amazing deal currently on the very newly released Blueant X5i Party Bluetooth Karaoke Speaker for $299 with Express Post delivery. This speaker replaces the older X5 model with some significant upgrades including 120W output (up from 60w), dual wireless microphones, and dual (stereo) tweeters. It can also blast at 100% volume for 7 hrs, or 30 hrs at 50% volume, so it's a worthwhile upgrade.

As this is a new release i wasn't able to find any other good deals on this speaker currently with most places asking the $479 RRP.

I picked one up for xmas for the pre-teen daughter to torture us with her Karaoke parties… yay.

Did you know: Blueant is also an Australian owned and operated company, and they've been coming out with some very decent stuff lately. I've also got one of their 'Soundblade' PC soundbars and it's been fantastic. Great build and sound quality. Also, if you register your product online you will also score double the warranty on their products.

See Blueant product page for more info: https://blueant.com.au/products/x5i

The BlueAnt X5i Bluetooth Party Speaker is set to amplify your life’s memories with awesome 120W peak power and 2 wireless microphones.
The X5i has epic bass at all volume levels and amongst the best battery life in the business with up to 30 hours playtime at 50% volume and 7 hours at full volume.
The beat driven lightshow will bring the nightclub to your next house party.

    Looks good mate

Can’t wait to belt out classics like khe sanh without being limited to needing a super long extension cable

  • Don't know if I need it but may be kids would love it.
    Ordered one. Thanks mate.

I got the K12 from that deal it’s trash apart from cheap novelty, I think this will be a different strata of quality.

Karafun I've found is a great app for karaoke enthusiasts - monthly subscription but ticks all the boxes!

  • Perfect for what I was looking for, thanks OP

  • Go noice with that $4.5k SDS subwoofer deal recently.

  • Didn't YouTube kill the karaoke machine?

Was $289 during the Black Friday sales via Telstra and $289 plus a further 20% for first time subscribers via BlueAnt. Great bargain to pass up on.

    • Oops. I just ordered this. May be I should cancel and wait for Boxing day sales.

      • There's a good chance it could go on sale via BlueAnt again for Boxing Day sales. If you have Telstra points you can use that to get this speaker for a lot less. I don't hence why I purchased it via BlueAnt.

I am in the same boat as you mate.
No Telstra points. I am not sure though if it will go on sale again.

  • Can u connect this to to tv or pc to play youtube etc?

    • Yes, using bluetooth.

Just received mine after a short overnight delivery.
I can only compare it to my Soundboks Go.
At about a third of the price it is very competitive but my ears don't ring. No surprise as its half of the weight but the bass sounds very clear and perhaps has better low bass response with what sounds like trickles of sub bass. High mids are a bit lifeless but absolutely acceptable.
Battery is sufficient, sound is fantastic but I dont like the sound as much after 60% volume and that's more than fine by me at this price.
Sounds almost like a portable budget mini home theatre which is what im going to use it for when the 2nd one arrives (bought after judging the 1st purchase
