  1: Looks like this is read only, no ability to comment or vote, is this correct?

  2: Threading for comments appears to be lost, may cause confusion.

  3: Have you checked OzBargains terms of service to make sure this is all above board? Not saying that it isn't, just wondering.

  3B: Specifically the comments shown in the screen shots on the app page probably violate the copywrite of the respective authors ("OzBargain does not claim any ownership in any of the content, including any text, data, information, images, photographs, music, sound, video, or other material, that you upload, transmit or store in your OzBargain account. We will not use any of your content for any purpose except to provide you with the Service. "). This may be splitting hairs, but still, be careful.

  1) Yep, the items are read-only at the moment.
  2) This screen requires a bit of work - thanks for the feedback
  3) I did ask the administrator's permission before, so should be ok.

    Sorry, don't mean to come accross as too negative, but my understanding is that ozbargain can't give you permissing to republish the user submitted text, as they clearly state they don't own the copyright. Google (almost) gets around this by using snippets and links to the original source, and even then they get sued for it.

    It's not likely to be an issue, just letting you know that I think you could be open to legal issues if anyone gets upset with you. Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer.

  • Share the deal vis sms, email, facebook or twitter (I thought this would be useful 'cause I wanted to send this to someone and it annoyed the hell out of my having to jump on the computer for it)
  • Search deals via different categories (My friend wanted this)

  Version 3 might have features like:
  - Push notification for Popular & New deal
  - Deal Image preview

  I just tried testing this out on my iPad but I can't download it as I don't have iOS 6. As the iPad 1 (and some older iPhones) don't support iOS 6, you are shutting out a lot of users.

  We've made a few changes recently to stabilise the iPhone application.

  Push notification for different categories

  My "popular" push notifications seem to be quite delayed - 30 mins plus… Is this a known issue?

  PS: The website you've got listed in iTunes has a typo.

  The Push Notification is sent every 15 minutes. We are planning to change this architecture soon.
