Where Have All The Alcohol Cashback Offers Gone This Year?

I am holding off buying all work clients grog for this year as I have only seen one decent cashback offer - a 30% offer from BWS around Black Friday. Outside of that, all it's been is a bunch of targeted offers for only certain drinks.

Anybody know what has happened this year and if we can expect to see them?

Maybe wait for Boxing day? Have you compared the prices from different online stores? There are so many different brands. You can buy cheap wines from Aldi for example and some of them have got awards too. Do you have to buy expensive brands? Do your work clients all know the cheap brands?

There are so many different brands. People just need to try and it doesn't have to be expensive.

    • Boxing day will be too pate unfortauntely, and looking for cashback as work pays for the booze.

Coles group (FCL, LL etc.) withdrew from the hefty, say 20% or above, Cashback Rewards offers many months ago.
The only bottle shop still participating is WW group owned BWS.
But even then, their cashback offers are sporadic - they don't have much competition

    • Thanks, I had no idea. Not sure why they withdrew as they would have generated some revenue for them without officially having to discount their product, and, in a cash-flow friendly way given the delay for payment.

I was thinking this yesterday when the First Choice deal was posted. The deals used to be relentless from them but now I haven't been back in ages.
No doubt they were just losing money on every transaction.

  • I think there have been quite a few, I would say at least once a month/2mths….I would try putting an alert on your Ozbargain for BWS (or whatever store you like to shop from, I use BWS), then I get an email when there is a deal as I don't always see them on the apps unless you are checking daily…

    • Just checked my emails and there have been 4 recently:
      25 Oct 20% Cashrewards
      11 Nov 25% Shopback
      23 Nov 20% Cashrewards
      2 Dec 30% Cashrewards

I guess they might do another one before Christmas, but who knows?

      • Thanks, yep looks lkke weekly. I must have missed them.

Someone got drunk and the hangover hasn't passed yet, so no deals until they get their head straight.

  • First choice stopped ages ago. I think your best bet is Coles online who still run 20% off or $40 of $150 etc. First choice used to have good wine offers that Coles and liquor land did not follow, but coles is generally pretty good on spirits and things
