Just wanted to throw it out there and see if anyone else has had their airline booking with Virgin rejected using PayID as payment? Tried on two separate occasions but both were rejected and Virgin support saying it's an issue on their end but if you want airline tickets, you can pay over the phone on credit card which attracts a credit card and a call centre fee lol. Interested to know if this is one off or not
I used their PayID email payment thing before and worked well. Pretty simple way to pay and avoid fees.
Pretty shitty of Virgin to tell you it's an issue on their end but you have to pay a fee to use CC etc. over phone if they've just said it's their issue. That's terrible customer service.
