  • This stuff is amazing

This stuff works great… once. I found even though the containers are separated they still dry shut

try put it inside air sealed tub with silica dry gel, that's how I store my epoxy and super glue. last me 1 or 2 year with left over I have.

      • Great idea thanks.

      • Super glue lasts longer in the fridge. Not sure if the same holds true for epoxy but baking in a hot garage is probably bad for any chemical.

    • the worst aspect of the product. Cap is a pretty annoying design too. I prefer the Daiso epoxy with the separate metal squeezy tubes.

  • how is this different from normal epoxy glue?

    • Sticks to plastic.

    • +1

      It's not epoxy, it's polyurethane

    • I wonder how it’s different to Araldite (sp?). That was always strong.

  • Doew this work well with rubbers? I need something strong to repair shoes.

    • Soles? use shoe goo which is also flexible.

i just buy new shoes. what shoes are you trying to save?

      • The sole of my Adidas shoes came off and I m hoping to glue it back :)

        • i would try to save some rare jordans or other special shoes that are expensive.

for those adidas i would cut my loses and just buy something else. if one sole fell off, the other one isn't far behind.

        • Contact adhesive works. I just use the cheap stuff from the Reject shop. You put it on each surface until tack dry then bring them together with pressure.

        • Good on ya for trying. Persevere, because we live in an overly consumerist society, and need to reuse, recycle and repair more. 👍

for flexible bond try Shelleys 'SHOEFIX"

  • Does this evaporate (like the knockoff brands) if not used for months?

  • glued plastic together, sealed shut, dried for 24hrs then ultimately cracked again. So not sure if i did something wrong but didn't work for me.

    • Like anything else you need to roughen the mating surfaces and clean any grease off (just use dishwashing liquid).

  • Awesome thank you OP.

    3ml at bunnings is $10.

  • Can I use this to repair cracked motorcycle fairings?

  • Is there a clear version of this rather than black or tan?

  • Delivery charge on top ($8.80) now showing

  • Price might expired, showing around $20 for both.

  • This stuff is very very good, much better than super glue.

However it can’t withstand mechanical stresses over time, and it become brittle. So expect to eventually fail.
