Foxtel, sent me two set top boxes and the kind of organisation it is, I couldn't be bothered returning the box.
Is there any use of this box at all?
Can I use it as PVR?
Any suggestions welcome..
I have a brand new Foxtel iQHD set top box, is it of any use?

Maybe you can install it on a second room and just remove the card to the other room when needed (if u can be bothered that is) =]
p.s. provided you have the cable and points in place.
Beware, It's only a matter of time before they realise they sent you an extra one and require it back OR if you lost it they WILL request you pay them the cost in full…
It is technically their property and they are pretty aggressive in chasing mistakes like that sooner or later… unfortunately it happened to a friend of mine and he ended up with a massive charge on his bill and them chasing him for the replacement cost
No, it needs to be registered with a card that is linked to an account.
