Best Security Door Installers in Melbourne – Looking for Genuine Recommendations

I’m looking to get security doors installed at both the front and back of my house in Melbourne. I’ve been searching online, but most of the Google reviews seem a bit "same-same," and it’s hard to know which companies actually deliver on quality, price, and service.

I don’t have much experience with things like this, so I’m hoping to get some guidance from people who’ve done it before. Which companies did you use, and would you recommend them? Also, what features should I be looking out for, and what kind of costs should I expect?

Would love to hear any experiences (good or bad) to help me make a more informed choice.

    I used to sell security doors as a door to door salesman.

    If no one was home I'd just leave the brochure on the kitchen table.

    I’m going through this process right now too. I checked out doors plus and they have security doors made to order and installed for ~$2000. After checking that I will get 2 more quotes one from crimsafe and another from clearshield and see how they compare. I’m leaning more towards the crimsafe door as seems to have the highest reviews. Crimsafe and clearshield have their licensed installers so u need to check out them to see how their reviews are.

    i went with security plus shutters, still going strong no issues with the install or the installers

    Recently had Flemings Security Doors and Screens install a crimsafe security door to the front door. Just under $1000 installed. Would highly recommend them. Came out for an onsite measure and quote - explained pros and cons of all the different options. Installation a week later. No issues.

    On a side note, doors plus is a bit of a joke, they quoted $1600 to supply and install an internal hollow door.

    I got a steel security security door measure, made and installed by MSD (my security door), they used to be Michael’s security door. Loved their service. This was around 7 years ago.

    I’m going through the same process again, this time with Melbourne steel security locksmiths in Highett. All custom made to fit, they’re around $2,800. These are proper steel doors, not aluminium. No need for crimsafe with these doors.

      So is this the external door? I want to be able to leave my front door open with the security door closed
