Many reviews are by salty reps posting trash. Some others are I bought some sort of trash from AliExpress without due diligence and now I'm upset with the site where I found the link. I don't know how the internet works and also get angry at search engines.

People have already tried to set up Discord servers for OzBargain… Why dont you just use one of those? (If they are still around). And who runs it? An "official" Discord would need a whole new group of moderators or are you just expecting the mods and admins from here to run that as well?

It sounds good as an individual but for ozbargain itself you'd have to make a converted effort not to take people away from your site which ultimately works against their objectives.
Would work if it was purposeful, as in NOT forum style replacement. Vocal focused, town halls, random stuff that compliments the annual ozbargain meet ups, idk what that looks like, trivia night style? Could be some video games groupings… I think whirlpool forums do that, well at least they used to. I remember playing call of duty against a makeshift whirlpool team back in the day haha
Anyway, ozbargain could benefit from a formal one, it'd just need to be focused on not duplicating the forum itself and ensure it does not pull people away from the forum, instead potentially work the other way around.
