With 18 (17?) cars, it's a pretty good demo. If you have GT7 sure you don't need it.

0.03% of the total cars in GT7!

But only 0% of the price!

HODL until they add the JZX100 Toyota Chaser

Yes, back in my day they called it a demo

So back further and it was called shareware

        gran turismo 4/5 prologue

        • Agree, but, Gran Turismo HD was free though.

Prolog 4 was a paid game. Not full price but still pretty expensive for a bunch of boring licence tests. Nevertheless I did them all.

@CascadeHush: I love reading reviews like that. "I sunk 180 hours into Dragon Age Veilguard and it SUCKS"

Okay but.. but you still… never mind

@King Steuart: 😅 Its called optimism, ive been there hoping the game gets better and some times it does. Death stranding was one. Sometimes though yeah you just cut your losses.

    PSVR2 compatible!

This demo has more content than most VR games.

  • I suppose if you are on the fence about getting GT7 given its rarely discounted, this may scratch that itch and confirm whether or not it’s worth the investment.

      $62 isnt terrible i guess

$125 rrp is a joke but hey, its a sony!

That's what they are hoping, to funnel people into buying the full 'game'. Anybody that does is going to be extremely dissapointed. They should have put the effort into actually putting some kind of fun into GT7.

  • I won't say no to a kid friendly game!

I thought the title was a joke, but no, that's the actual name. 🤣

  • give it a crack over the w/e. is there anything new for GT7 players at all? my understanding was it was kind of a celebration of the games history

  • The title is spelled incorrectly. Turismo not tursimo 😭
    Also once in the description

    • Nice catch.
      Mod corrected it.

    • we dont have time for capitals

  • This is a demo. It's not a deal.

    • A lot worse free games get posted regularly…just add it to the collection like everything else at least it's not an 8 bit block smasher (no offense to Tetris Fans) but it's a modern game with top class graphics for free, what's to complain about.

  • Good deal

I enjoyed GT back in the day but the grind of endlessly doing laps to unlock things just doesn't appeal anymore. Any race over 5 laps just bores me to death. Admittedly i haven't played GT for a long time so i'm just judging from the games past direction as impressive as the graphics have become racing simulations (GTA race modes being a rare exception due to Story driven content) are a hard pass for me. Never the less i will add it to the library on the off chance i get terribly bored one day.

the grind is actually horrendous. bought GT7 on launch at top dollar, like $129 or something it was.. lost interest after a few days once i realised what it was expecting of the player. GT's always been grindy but the rip-off level here genuinely bothered me… then i found ppl had made remote play bots to grind credits, and i left em running for a couple weeks to get enough credits. once i had circumvented the disrespect of the developer, with an equal amount right back at them, it removed the psychological barrier. it's a shame, cause it's a great looking & great playing game, and like one of a couple actual next-gen titles.

    • Samsies. Also since ive played every gt since release, after 4 it just became the same game but slightly shinier

      • you mean 'shittier'
