OnePass Suspicious Activity Email - Investigation Ongoing

Anyone else received an email from OnePass citing suspicious activity on the account? They reset my password, enabled 2FA and recommended I reset my password anywhere it's been used. I have just enquired with chat and it sounds like there has been a breach during the black Friday sales:

Based on our current investigations, a small proportion of OnePass accounts are impacted and members have been notified via email with additional safety measures you can take on the OnePass account.

Our investigation is continuing but at this stage we believe that this unauthorised access occurred during the Black Friday weekend (between 29th November to 2nd December 2025).

Wow! I can't believe any business would 'do the right thing' and alert customers about a breach.Generally they say nothing until somebody discovers it,the story leaks to media and then they go into the deny/drag out/ and sell down the impact, until as we now know, spill their guts with the worst news for users.

BTW Check out the news stories about the humungous hacking in the USA. (Of course they ended up claiming it's China. Their go to whipping boy. If it was China Trump can take credit for the payback for his threats ,I guess.)

Looks like I upset the hackers, the deniers and/or the businesses who did hold back from informing their clients.

Or 4+ ppl (and counting?) grabbed the wrong end of the stick.
