Can an Apple Watch purchased through Telstra on a device repayment plan be unlocked to be activated with another carrier for a family member?

    they're not network locked like a phone, but they could be locked by region (if you purchase a watch in US, you MIGHT not be able to use it in Australia)

I have an Apple Watch with Optus plan and use it on my Telstra number without issue. Dont believe they network locked.
