Been looking for a deal for a Makita impact driver. Came across this and thought it's a decent deal.
It's sold through Big W Market but the seller is called National Power Tools. This tool is showing as OOS on their website tho.

If this is too dodgy for you Amazon is also selling this at $212

Alternatively, Bunnings is selling this for $329 with a bonus charger and battery, which you can try to sell on FB Market/ Gumtree. I sold a charger and a 4ah battery last week for $120, but YMMV.

  • Max fastening torque: 175Nm. Good price though.

    • For comparison
      Ozito Impact Driver 150Nm
      Ozito Brushless Impact Driver 180Nm
      Ozito Brushless Impact Wrench 230Nm
Ozito Brushless 3-Speed Impact Wrench 400Nm

  • best option is to try & price beat at bunnings, will easily sell the charger & battery for up to $150

    • I did, they said National Power Tools was not a competitor and refused!

      • not surprised, they can also say it doesn't come with free redemption, worth a try, though 99% they wont match, just need the right rep

This isn't bad value for those with bosch, sell off the battery/charger $100/$120 get cheap impact: Bosch 18V Professional 18V Brushless Impact Driver 200NM 4.0ah Battery + Fast Charger Kit $179

      • +1

You got played, there is nothing in the price beat t & C's that states what a competitor is or a list specific competitors. For the record a competitor is a business that sells similar products which is the case as the sell power tools. Bunnings have tried this with me before and every time I make them read the policy in front of me and in the end I've never been refused a price beat.

The policy clearly states they will beat any price on a stocked item unless it is a liquidation sale.

  • I just bought the Ozito one for $100, but I also have Makita. I went down the wrong path with Ozito, their 18V angle grinder overheats after 10 sec and another Ozito driil died the first time it was used,

    • ozito are toys, they are fun and cheap, but don't expect to do real work with it. light diy work is fine for ozito. great to start with until you can save up to get makita.

  • Can anyone actually get this delivered anywhere? I've tried a few postcodes.
