  • How powerful is it? Good enough to crush ice?

    • +4

      200w so no not really

    • +1

      Will definitely crush hopes

  • +8

    200w for those wondering.

    • +6

Seems weak considering the more popular models are 900W (but $82)

      • 900w is the way

  • +1

what about the portable ones? those any good?

    • +1

I picked one up a NitriBullet Flip, I'm a fan so far

  • +1

wouldn't touch < 1000w if you want to crush ice for summer heat

    • +2

The original was 600w and crushed ice fine

      • +1

Minimum power for ice crushing: 600 watts
Ideal power for frequent ice crushing: 1000 watts or more

      • I have something similar from a different brand, 300w. It has no problem with crushing ice.

    • i bought a new 900w nutrinja that shit loud asf

  • site down it seems
    edit : nvm

  • Not good

  • +1

This is a weak blender if it’s actually 200W as stated before. I would go for something a little bit more expensive for reliability.

  • +1

This is such a watered down Nutribullet. The previous cheapest was 600W.

    • +1

Which is just $49 from kmart at the moment.

      • Yep seems like a terrible deal.

  • Nutribullets go great - never really had a problem with power, but also don't blend ice.

  • +1

    I want at least 1kw

  • Too weak for a veg smoothie, especially if fibrous. Motor will die or bottom plastic screw attachment will break off.

I use the free one I got for grinding linseed, spices.

Maybe Ninja BN460 900W would be better? Price match with Bing Lee at JB Hifi for $69 and create new account to get $10 off, then extra $10 with cashback through Commbank? Total $49 but with extra power

    • +3

This is the real deal 👏

    • Currently $64 with price beat @ TGG

  • +3

Strong enough to blend water 🙃

    If your budget is under $50 - Ninja Fit 700W Blender - QB3001 $47 @ Big W

  • Bought the 900W Nutribullet from DJ which is now close enough to the price of the Kmart knockoff. DJs online shopping is frustrating. They use Auspost but wont deliver this to parcel locker even though they invite you to locate one and enter your name and mobile. Ffsake even Aliexpress deliver large hifi amplifiers to lockers and if they dont fit take them to post office.

    • Should hv got the ninja 900 posted above, didnt see it.

  • It’s not terrible value if you have a proper one already and just want the cups etc

  • only 200W

  • are the cups, transparent material etc glass or polycarbonate?

    • i dont reckon it would be glass

    • they’re plastic, can’t remember which type though

  • Customer reviews on Amazon was average at best, 3.9 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐ from 10 reviews. As far as the ice blending controversy going on in the comments here,
of the 3 reviewers that tried to blend/crush ice or frozen fruit, only one of them said it could do it.
Oh and another 2 reviewers said a nasty smell came from the motor while blending!!
