I submitted the redemption almost 2 weeks ago now for the steam gift cards and am still waiting, is this normal? how long do you normally have to wait?

damn thats rough bro, my PC was over a week late and communication was pretty bad and non existence from them.
I think you should be able to talk to msi support and get that sorted if the date matches the purchase by.
Hmm damn, not instilling me with much confidence 😂 Only really purchased from them due to the Steam credit, as it’s his first gaming PC so figured it would be worth it to put towards some games for him as well.
Doubtful I’d be able to claim the credit if it’s after the 15th (which stupidly enough is a Sunday as well?) as they say pretty clearly that it must be redeemed by then.
Hopefully your credit doesn’t take too much longer as it is, but this time of year seems everything goes a bit slower..
yeah i had to call them multiple times and after the initial timeframe on the third call it was built then sent out, support has been good since then for an issue, great even but it was pretty frustrating.
the annoying thing about the msi redemption is that you need a picture of the build to submit it, so you cant even submit it early.
hopefully his build doesn't take long but if it is getting on i would give them a call, it is a super busy time for them but basic updates would be nice, if you ordered late november you shouldn't have to wait too long but touch wood bro

Mine arrived about 2 weeks after submitting in an email. Check spam folder just in case. Should be from msi.
What is interesting is that i got 10 codes, so i naturally assumed its equal values. There is no indication what each one redeems for. I initially planned to give away some as Christmas presents, but after redeeming the first one ive had to replan. It was approx 96aud, so about 60usd.
Note PC was from evatech. Not nebula but that shouldn't matter unless the builder has to verify something.
I just got off a live chat from someone on the MSI website.
As per my escalating with our marketing management team, we’re currently experiencing a longer queue of this promotion application than we expected. We’ve actually run out of Steam codes, so we are placing large orders of Steam codes for fulfilling it, and hopefully we can approve all of the applications before this long holiday.
There's been some updates to the MSI forums on this - in response to if you had submitted and the status now showing as expired.
"The web ticket response said that they had my application and the indication of the promotion being finished doesn't affect my application and that it was still being processed.
The email response said that they were swamped with applications, had run out of steam codes and were ordering more which they are still waiting for. Sadly I can’t help you.
I’m more concerned I won’t get the computer (for my nephew for Christmas) before the cut off date of the 15th to redeem it. A bit silly of MSI to have the deal that needs to be purchased by the 30th Nov from retailers who build the PC for you but then only give 15 days after that to actually redeem it. By the time it gets posted I’m doubtful it’ll arrive here in WA before the 15th as it is!
