Wusthof knife sets

Has anyone seen any on special in Aus? Had planned on getting a set previously but have probably left it a bit close too Christmas now.

I bought the 6 + Block classic set for $299 from King of Knives a couple of weeks ago. HN Big Buys has the same set for $499 down from $1064

I got the Wusthof Gourmet Elite 12-pc Knife Block Set for $329 from More Than Kitchenware yesterday via their eBay store. I think I got the last one they had listed but it may be worth contacting them to see if they can match the deal.

      Rats. Managed to organise something (the shop was exceedingly helpful), but just found out the Gourmet line are stamped while all the other Wusthof lines are forged. Might have passed if I realised beforehand.

I scored a set 11 years ago from Dj's as an employee. the set was missing one so it was cost ($125 ish) and then I grabbed a replacement for the missing knife a few years later off ebay for $5. not htat I really needed it but the other knofes looked lonely with a blank slot.
