        Why would you be using a standing mic for Gaming/Discord when you can just use the mic that came with your headset?

          Some headsets don't come with a good mic. Maybe it's broken? You might have great headphones but just want a mic.

    I was tempted to give this a crack but the comparisons to the yeti snowball turned me off. It seems like this is 'high sensitivity' which generally means that even on low gain you're gonna get a lot of background noise.

    It will be much better than your laptop/webcam mic but you might need a stand for it as well - factor that in.

      Had a Yeti Blue before changing to my Marantz and the Blue picked up way more unwanted noise (especially keyboard). Granted, I also changed from directly on the desk to a goose neck + shock mount.

        Ooft maybe the comparisons were misleading! Still in two minds about this one! Don't want to end up with a paperweight cause the birds outside become my co hosts.
