I read that they went under administration mid of last year, but they are still selling stuff (they have a pretty good BlackFriday deal right now).
They also have a new-ish machine model (AQUA).
Are they continuing their business or are they just clearing old inventory before closing doors for good?
When administrators are appointed, they act in the best interest of the creditors. They could choose to wind up the company and sell off assets, or they could keep running the company trying to make it profitable enough to find a buyer. I can't find any reporting about what's happened in the last 18 months, but it's obviously still trading.
I recentdly did a cylinder swap at Spotlight, and it looks like Big W are still stocking as well.
Ah makes sense, thanks for the info! I hope someone can capitalise on it and keep it running, would hate to see an oz brand go like this.
Do you happen to have their new aqua soda maker or the old one? tried to find some reviews about their new model but found nothing.
Thinking of pulling the trigger on the deal to support an Oz brand in its last days. If they went bust, it still accepts standard CO2 cylinders and there is no shortage of off-brand concentrated syrups.
Recently tried their cola flavour and it tasted horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if they went broke.
