get a BroadLink RF/IR remote for around $25 to $30.
it combines all your remotes into one app as a remote. I say get the square RF model because sometimes the remotes for these lights use RF even though it looks like they use IR. it’s just handy to have RF anyway for future devices.
for IR devices it needs to be in the same room with line of sight, so I just chose a careful place on the wall and used the included wall mounting piece.
you can teach it signals too so you can program every single button on every single remote. then later setup virtual buttons and to turn on multiple devices with one press. you can also schedule them to turn on and off at specific time. very convenient and energy saving.
you might think oh no internet and app control it will be unreliable, but no it works amazing. after outages don’t need to do anything it’s all up and running again by itself.
shame it is an app not a controller. I don't want yet another app on my phone where in order to control these little lights I have to tell some server in some other country where I am all the time and give them access to all my photos and email and….
