Hi there, like many on the forums - I signed up for the HSBC Star Alliance card.
Met spend, received my 50K points, then received an email confirmation of my 50K (gold) status valid through to December 2025, and luggage tags arrive a week or so later. Then cancelled the card.
But when I log on today I see I'm back at 'Red' status.
I've sent customer support and email, along with the email attachment. But I was curious to see if anyone else had their status changed too?
I checked the original 15 page thread, but couldn't see anyone mention status being revoked.
Pretty sure you have to keep the card open…
