Looking for earphones (not headphones) that have capability to be wireless/bluetooth but also have wired capability for longer duration use.
Would prefer in-ear style, not over-ear.
Ability to make phone calls both wireless or wired if possible.
Bonus if USB-C cable.
Does such a product exist?
Budget anywhere up $250. Any recommendations?

You are over complicating it.
Just buy something like a Sony SBH24
No need to spend heaps.
I'd say skip the SE215s, and buy a wireless IEM adaptor and a nice pair of IEMs. Plenty of good options in that sub $200 category.
if you get a pre-owned pair you might be able to get Shure Aonic 215 with True Wireless Kit for around your budget? New ones retailing for about $350 from what I can tell. I have different model in the same series and they work well enough - not as light/ergonomic as standard wireless earbuds but having flexibility to use wired requires bit of a tradeoff
