Panasonic 32L Inverter Sensor Microwave NN-ST67JSQPQ $288 + Delivery ($0 to Selected Cities) @ Appliance Central

90

Our old Panasonic (over 10 years old) did not give up but the surface coating beneath the wheels eroded with use, leading to rust. I've been looking for the equivalent and found it with Appliance Central. JB Hi-Fi do not list it, so cannot price match. Bing Lee say they match only if the business has two stores. You may be able to price match elsewhere.

Great microwave, not having a carousel is the best feature ever.
Replaced my previous LG NeoChef that caught on fire.
Happy to report this unit has:
    * Not caught on fire
    * Doesn't kill my airpods from across the room

  • Just price matching in the good guys, used $30 sms voucher and cba yello offer.

Pro: have inverter and sensor, best model in Panasonic medium size range comes with all features

Cons: still coating inside the oven instead of stainless. Only 1 year warranty as other competitors offer 2 years. According to manual, this model comes out at 2018. Panasonic doesn’t have any new models in the past few years in medium size microwave range.

  • Does anyone know the difference between this and the Panasonic NN-ST665BQPQ

Seems like they are almost the exact same. Same size, weight, features (a few differences in the number of power levels and pre-set options).

Really just a change in colour/door?

    NN-ST67JSQPQ
    - Stainless steel front
    - Released 2018

    NN-ST665BQPQ
    - Stainless steel + black front
    - Released 2015

    • The good guys have a chart to compare all Panasonic microwaves. You could ask them show you. Differences are ST665 does have add time 30s functions, menu programs are different and power level are different. The rest I can’t remember but they are minor. ST665 the good guys can lower to $275 via price matching. For $13 difference, definitely worth to get ST67.

  • Does anyone have this microwave and can confirm if you have to press the "micro power" button before selecting the cooking time and start? the previous model allowed you to skip that if you want to use the full power; seems a bit of a downgrade having to press an extra button. First World Problems I know!

  • The way I read it, set your time and press [Start] for full power, but use the [Micro Power] if you need reduced wattage cooking that's not available using other buttons. So, similar to the old model, but without the convenient time altering dial and quick set is now 30s instead or 1m. Arguably, the worst of the change is [Add Time] then pressing buttons, instead of turning the dial to add time and there is no button equivalent to reducing time using the dial. Stop and start again or stand and wait.
