Any Reviews for The Samsung 458L Bottom Mount Fridge - SRL4600BD ($1599$960)

Hi, struggling to find reviews for the Samsung 458L Bottom Mount Fridge - SRL4600BD.

Am able to use Smart Spend app to get 40% off for a total price of $960.

From what ChatGPT tells me it's the same as the SRL4600S but its black with the non-plumbed water dispenser. Reviews just seem super limited across the series…

First fridge purchase so am kind of clueless and am hoping to get a decent fridge that won't crap out on me like the 4 year old Haier I've got currently sitting in the kitchen keeping my food warm.

Only concern is that its listed as "Smart" (Wi-Fi embedded, SmartThings App Support) but from research it doesn't seem to be required for use.

Also am trying to figure out warranty. Can't see anything listed on the website unless I'm just blind.

Any input on reviews for this fridge would be appreciated. Seems like a great deal at under $1k.

I’ve had this fridge for a bit over 12 months and it has been fine. Does everything you need a fridge to do.

    • Did you buy direct through Samsung? And was there a warranty?

      • I think it was through appliances online or similar. Yeah it’d have warranty and ACL coverage regardless.

Would expect that at the 1yr mark, just wait till the 3-5 year mark…

Had a Samsung fridge once, never again

      • Previous fridge was a Samsung and didn’t miss a beat for the 10 years I had it /shrugs

  • Get a second hand fridge until you can afford a Mitsubishi.

  • I have an older model non water version SRL451BLS
Bought late 2018 as my first fridge for 2 adults.

Led temp signal has a broken pixel so hard to tell without a wifi temp gauge what they are.
Door fridge seal replaced last year and prob needs another one and freezer is loose now.
Have cracked the milk tray on accident otherwise pretty basic fridge that's been ok.

Need a larger fridge and esp freezer space personally now for meal prepping.
