The Sydney Flames host Geelong United this Saturday afternoon at Quaycentre. Both teams compete in Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) which runs from November 2024 to March 2025. The venue for the game is Quaycentre (the old State Sports Centre) in Sydney Olympic Park.
The Flames are led by Paris Olympic Bronze Medallist, Cayla George with Emma Clarke and Shaneice Swain returning from last season. New recruits include Mikaela Reuf who has started the season on fire and US imports Celeste Taylor and Yemiyah Morris. This will be a tough game for the Flames with Geelong currently sitting 4th on the WNBL Ladder. As always there’ll be a lot of music, dancing, prize giveaways, free facepainting and lots of posters and banners. After the game there'll be a signing session with the players on the court. Tickets for this Saturday afternoon's game are complimentary so come along, bring your friends and family and bring the heat!
