NTFS portable HDD works with WD live streaming?

Did anyone try to connect a portable HDD to WD live streaming?

I failed and the WD device is freezing.

My portable HDD is in ntfs format.

Any help?

My 500gb 2.5 drive ntfs works fine on my live wifi

@cliro, It seems you’ve updated the firmware to the latest (1.12.14), which makes the devise freezes for a couple of minutes every time you connect it to a hard drive. To resolve this problem rollback to the previous firmware (1.11.14) which resolves this problem completely. You can find it and instruction of how to do the rollback here:

Drive format does not matter.
