Passengers in the Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne CBDs will be able to hail a free ride in a 13cabs electric taxi on Tuesday November 26, between 8am and 6pm, with fares capped at $60.
It looks like you just have to look out for the green electric taxis tomorrow and hail the cabs and your ride will be free for up to $60.
Tell them to stop at $60.
and catch another free cab.
Catch the same cab . Technically a new fare when you exit car, close door, tell driver to hang on for a min, get back in car, and restart.
I'm guessing it's upto $60 value. So a 10 minute drive.

Issuing of the lack of reserve (LOR) notice is more to do with 4 coal fired generators out of service.
Likely other reserves have been sourced for them to lower the level of the notice.
Heat wave conditions are to extensive areas of NSW. Increasing demand. Was unaware of that.

Thought I’d give a taxi a go again after years of uber. Airport to home (25 min drive), he said $135 credit card, or $125 cash. Sorry? A $10 credit card surcharge? Back to uber I go….
