Baby Angelfish $10 Each + $13.99 Postage ($0 SYD C&C) @ Sydney Aquascapes

30

New batch of baby angelfish in stock! All postage is combined, so it is $14 flat no matter how much you buy.

Angelfish are a great tropical fish, if your house gets below 20C in winter, you should have a heater, and they will eat flakes or pelets like any other fish.

Angelfish are said to be a little more aggressive, however we keep these (and their parents) in community tanks with no issue.

Please note that these are angelfish, they grow faily large and need at least a 40L tank to be happy. They will be fine in a smaller tank for about 6 months to a year at which point you will need a larger one for them.

Feel free to ask us any questions you have!

      • My mum needs a replacement female, can that be organised for the medium ones?

        • I'll have to check see if we can gender them. Shoot me a message in an hour or so I'll let you know.

        • I think we have one medium female, but hard to tell. Its quite subtle outside of breeding season.

  • How's this a bargain, what's the normal price?

    • About $13 usually

  • How do you “post” a fish?

    • In a bag of water, in a polystyrene box. Its done all the time , pretty easy

In violation of the postal regulations.

Posting of live animals are prohibited except for bees, leeches, silkworms, other harmless insects and harmless invertebrates, but no one cares unless the animals cause injury to postal workers. No one cares unless the animal dies and you can demonstrate it suffered pain during postage.

My dad had a tropical tank years ago, started with a heap of fish. In the end there was one very large Angelfish.
They'll absolutely eat anything smaller than them so heads up I guess.

    • Including attacking other smaller angelfish.

We have heard this a lot, but we keep our angels with other smaller angles and female bettas and have had no issues so far. Be careful with them of course however!
