        Success!

      • Would I be able to do this at OW if I don't have a Costco membership?

      • +2

Thanks! I got OW to price beat in store.

PM me, happy to buy you one

      • can that offer extend to me :) ?

      • +1

Thanks for offering. I was going past an officeworks today and decided to try pricebeating… and it worked!

These are quite good. I have one hidden in my old car which doesn't have any smarts. I got that using Telstra points back when JB Mobile used to accumulate Telstra points. Can confirm this works quite well.

I've found them to be a bit glitchy - on occasion, the map refuses to load.

      • I second that, i dont have much faith in the one i have

Any suggestions on tags for a Pixel phone?

  • Can anyone share what they are or plan on using these for? I am trying to think of a reason to buy these.

    • +1

Tags. Let's you locate things as long as they are in range of galaxy devices. Can also be triggered to beep when near them

Put on anything you want to track - cars, keys, children, backpacks, remotes, etc.

We used them on luggage while travelling. Almost needed to use them once.

xmast gift to all my 4 sugar babies so i can keep track of them

      • They will definitely give them to their boyfriends.

        • Good way to hunt down the competition.

Why do you need people to tell you what to use these for? Gosh you must be one of those folks who love to waste money just tor the sake of it. There are actual folks who legitimately need these for travel, etc.

Sometimes you don't realise how useful something will be until you become aware of it's use.

        • Mate, if we lived by that logic we could buy anything and everything without ever considering it as a waste of money. People can spend their money however they want but it's ignorant to glorify shopping addiction.

@thousandsuns: Nah… you find out what something is used for … then you decide if it's of use to you personally and whether it's affordable.

@Gravy: Yup, part of the ignorant club. You do you! :)

If you have not come across the "need" for something and you feel obliged to go looking for it to see what you need it for to justify purchasing it is a backward way of looking at life. That's categorised as unnecessary spending because you are having to find a genuine need to justify buying the damn thing.

@thousandsuns: Bed owner: "Hey, why are you laying on the ground sleeping? That must be pretty uncomfortable for you, ever thought about buying yourself a bed?"

                Ground sleeper: "A what now?"

              • +1

@thousandsuns: Unnecessary spending is when there is no justified need. (could also go into wants vs needs, that's a different story)

                • @Gravy: Change site name to ozspenders? 🤣🤣

  • Still available but these are bigger than rivals, i thought tech make things smaller. Lol

    • If they made them too small you couldn't find them

      • +1

Hmmmm, that is what they are made for.

  • Anyone know what Costco's delivery time is like? I'm flying out at the end of the week and wondering if they have stock in store, then i should pick up instead :S

    • Last time I ordered something from Costco online, it took 3 business days to ship then a further 2 business days to be delivered (NSW to QLD). YMMV but I'd suggest picking up.

  • OOS

  • Thanks guys, hopefully they have it in store. Cheers!

Would like to know if it's also available instores

      • Ditto. If someone can confirm, would be appreciated!

        • Went to Epping, VIC. Nada

  • Bought 2x tags for $35 each on Amazon but centrecom has the 4 pack on sale for $115, which is a pretty good deal as well.

Back in stock!! Just bought one.

  • Awesome, thanks OP. Literally had an order waiting for dispatch with Amazon. Paid $105 through them. Upper estimate of delivery was going to be January. Just cancelled and ordered through costco.

Saved $15 and will be able to track my cat sooner!
