    VF5 is almost 20 years old now!

        At this point - gotta wonder if the absence of Yu Suzuki as lead/ director/ producer of VF has anything to do with Sega not able to advance/ innovate to VF6. (I understand og VF5 was his last VF)

          Either that or they can't figure out on how to advance the series and just resell the same game with some incremental updates (ie. visuals and rollback netcode)

            @Valkian24: One way to advance the series would be a visual overhaul, theme and animations (moves) overhaul.

            The gameplay I’m sure can be tweaked - make it feel ‘crisper’ for one - introduce new moves and adjust some.

            I’ve found vf2 and vf4 to be where it’s at in terms of ‘crisp’. VF 5 felt ‘chunky’ overall, even visually and thematically - if that makes sense.

            At the very least maybe Sega should introduce a new fighting IP - as spiritual successor to VF.
