Looking for a Replacement Ebike Battery - Black Friday

Looking to save some coin on an Ebike battery over Black Friday.

Bike is a 36v (10s5p pack) - "Silverfish" style.

I'm happy to pull the pack apart and rebuild.

Ie. Was looking at a 48v (13s4p) scooter pack for around $100, pre Black Friday (Ali Express). That's 52 cells, and I only need 50.

Hoping something pops up on Kogan, Ali, eBay etc

Hey mate, sorry to hear about your bike battery- that sucks. Just thought I would mention what I did to fix mine in a similar circumstances. it might be a lot easier to add the new battery in its new packaging and fit it into a saddle bag or something similar.

I got a 36v ebike, the battery died after a while. Found a 36v battery on fbook for $70,
made a joining cable with anderson plugs and just stuck the battery in a saddlebag. still took a bit of hacking to get it to work but orders of magnitude simpler than rebuilding the entire battery yourself. been working well for 2 years now.

Nice… Knowing my luck the FB battery would be worse! Also, do a bit of off-road riding, so a rear mount probably won't work out. But cheers.

Just bought a battery charger/ analyser from Ali Express (brilliant btw).

Currently doing some charge cycles on the cells (so it's already in bits).

Started with 30+ cells that would discharge rapidly, then auto recover equally rapidly. Guessing this means they left it on charge basically permanently. So the cells all appear great at 4.1v …until you put a decent load on them.

Doing full discharge cycles. Takes agessssss…..like 20hrs+ per cell, and need to monitor it. The auto cycle doesn't really drain it properly.

But the bike never used to run, and now all but 5 have gained 70%+ capacity..but ..I still have my partners bike to go.. urghh..

So just looking for the cheapest way to buy 50 cells, or even better, drop a pack straight in to the cover.
