At a Qualifying Location: Customers who purchase an Eligible Product and a Promotion Product in a Qualifying Location during the Promotion Period shall receive a discount equal to the value of the Promotion Product (depending on their purchase, as set forth below) off the price of the Eligible Product.         Yes, edu purchases are out. But rest assured they run edu promo yearly! In AU I remember it’s usually start at the beginning of each year.

      Nope. You’ll see the bonus amounts correspond with JB’s current Black Friday pricing.
      Best you can do is buy Apple GCs at 10% off and use them to buy these with bonus gift cards.

    Pretty good deal for USB-C AirPods Max, assuming you have continuing expenses at Apple that you can use the gift card on (Apple One subscriptions etc).

    Combined with 10% off gift cards, works out at ~$700.

    Can anyone confirm whether this means that you effectively have the gift card benefit applied against the same purchase that qualifies you for the gift card? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I’ve never bought during this sort of promotion period.

      It means, for example: (the qualifying) ipad + (promotional) gift card are both added to the bill, then the amount for the gift card is subtracted from the bill - making it "free".

        Is what you said applicable only for in store purchases? just tried a dummy online order, and the final checkout page after payment details and before clicking the place order button says this “Your gift card will be sent to your email address when qualifying products are shipped or ready for pick-up. Gift card can be used on a future purchase.”

    AOC was not excluded from back-to-school GC offers. GC was offered on regular Edu pricing, not AOC. I tried multiple stores in Melb and Apple chat this year and failed :(.
