Looking at getting the Tefal XXL which can steam.

For those who steam using an air fryer, is it a nice function to have or is it just a gimmick?
Currently steaming using the stovetop but if the air fryer is not that great at steaming then I'll happily stick to the stovetop.
What does a Philips do differently to others?
I mean air fryers are essentially a heat gun glued to a bucket with a timer. Not exactly complicated.
If you already have an air-fryer, consider getting a rice cooker if you don't have one, and steaming with that. Much cheaper too.
Agree! Less functionality often means there's less that can break.
But sometimes kitchentop space is an issue, so mutlifunction it is!
I've got a tiger rice cooker. Though I've never used it for steaming.
Interesting that the video says the basket style are better than the box style ones. Saved myself $150.
Imagine not having a Phillips air fryer
