they don't look that big in the stores with so much open space, but I'm sure once it's on a wall it will feel big.
Just get a nice 4k Projector.
I've seen this TV in store compared to my projector and it wasn't much better in terms of picture quality, I would only trade my projector for an OLED.

I project onto a wall so I can make it gigantic.
If you want a specific size + screen then an ultra short throw is likely easier, but then you are stuck with only 150"
@samfisher5986: i got the samsung UST , i think TCL looks better for netflix and youtube. but the TCL is 2 inch smaller than my 100 inch screen which is a lot :D
@uccoffee: If you are only projecting at 100" then it doesn't seem worth it. The beauty of a project like the Viewsonic is you can project up to 300"

The brightness on this TV is like 5x a great projector
Contrast, HDR performance, colors, true 120hz at 4k, etc etc are vast Vastly superior on this TV
Projectors for screens below 120 inches and outside cinema rooms make Zero sense
You would be definitely correct for a bright room, but brightness isn't an issue in a darker room. The viewsonic for example is 3500 lumens, very bright.
Not sport, motion is poor on this tv.

The c755 is quite close to the c855 in 98" size
But the wonderful reflection handling of the c855 would certainly be missed
Both have the same HVA low reflection coating tho?
have they? dont remember seeing it in the C755 description
if it has, then the difference to the C855 would be even smaller
although the C855 is already a massive bargain, amazing quality for such low price
