      12 months is what manufacturers usually offer for brand-new laptops. It'd be unusual for a refurbished seller to offer the same warranty length as a brand-new device.

      That totally depends on your luck. Business-grade laptops like these are more likely to be fine for many years though.

          I imagine that's why they cost more - you're effectively paying for the units that do fail.

          The Dell 7240 above is $599 there, with a smaller SSD.

          They don't have a T490s at the moment but do have a 6th gen T460s B Grade for $356.
