Officeworks Would Not Reactivate My Print and Copy Card despite Having Money in There

Today I checked my Officeworks print and copy card online just before I went to print, but it shows an "error" when I check the balance online.

When I asked the staff, she said it had expired. I can't remember when I activated this card, but I don't think is that long ago. The staff said there is still money in there but she claimed that they can't reactivate it.

So, I am wondering if there is any way I can still get the card reactivated or get the money refunded? Should I try a different store?

Validity and expiry of the Print and Copy Recharge Card

Your Print and Copy Recharge Card will be valid for use for 3 years from the date of the last transaction (or as otherwise extended or reduced by us).

To check the balance and transaction history of your Print and Copy Recharge Card, see in-store at the Print and Copy Self Serve Card Dispenser, any customer service desk, by calling 1300 OFFICE or online at www.officeworks.com.au/pcss

You can cancel or refund your print and copy recharge card at any point before the expiry period at any point of sale terminal in any Officeworks store in Australia. Any unused balance will be refunded to you.

    • Thanks. Looks like I have credit that is about to expire. Going to try the refund option. They will probably want to refund to original payment method, just to make things difficult.

  • The lesson is not to prepay anything that has an expiry unless you absolutely have to. I have bought at least three of those in the past, all loaded with credit and never used up. Each time was a few years apart. Glad we finally defeated paper because of covid. Never been happier.

  • ms paint please….
