Kogan Delivery to Regional Victoria

I’ve reached out to Kogan support a few times to no avail, so I figured this was my next best shot.

I need a portable air conditioner. My place is like an oven in summer and I can’t affix one to the window frame or install a split system. I live in regional Vic and in the property I’m at, TOLL and many other couriers won’t deliver to my address for various reasons. So basically if it isn’t shipped by Australia Post, it isn’t coming to me.

Has anyone bought this air conditioner for delivery to a regional/rural area and had it delivered by Australia Post? I don’t care if I have to pick it up at the post office (99% likely), because at least it will arrive for summer.

Alternatively, has anyone seen a similar sized/power portable air conditioner for a comparable price that will be shipped by Australia Post? Bunnings have one for $279 that I can pick up, but I’d be much happier under $250

  Curious, what's the driving distance to your nearest Good Guys etc?

    About 2 hours each way (which is about half a tank of fuel)

    There is Betta and Harvey Norman (🤮) nearby, but neither are even close on price to Bunnings, let alone Kogan

      At least gives you a better place for warranty, returns etc

        There’s that, for sure, but also spending $250 is a stretch for me right now and if I didn’t have a dog I’d just suffer through the heat with the fans

  How far to your local bunnings? and what was the unit from bunnings? Could be a better brand, I recently got an Arlec one from bunnings.
