This is a great lens and the cheapest I've seen it, especially after cashback. Excellent field of view and fast F1.8 aperture.
I bought this lens a few weeks ago and the autofocus speed and accuracy is excellent, better than what you'd get with 3rd party lenses.
The best feature however is the diminutive size of the lens, measuring only 66mm by 57.5mm and weighing a tiny 181g.
This is a great lens - not sure in what. Real good Sony lens are G and GM, and they are really great. If you have $500 you can easily get better lens from the other brands, or even a couple if consider Chinese brands like Meike.
It may be great if you want only Sony and don't have enough money for anything better. Also 11mm is very specific and not for anything. If size is the case, well, Sony made whole cameras with lens in about the same size, RX100-M*.

Great lens for A6400, A6600, A6700 etc - equivalent to around 16mm so nice and wide
