Lately, I’ve noticed “deals” for older movies on streaming services, some of which are over 10 years old. It seems strange to me that this can be considered a deal, and I’d like to hear your thoughts on it

The posts being about old movies isn't my issue it's that they've been on streaming platforms on and off for the past decade

Yea a Movie/Show coming to a platform you're paying for monthly is not a deal it is 'EXACTLY' what you are paying for….
Imagine if we posted everytime Spotify added a new song….
I got no issue on the post about getting access to platforms 'cheaper' ie 50% Disney+ for 3 months etc but Disney is adding #insert movie# is getting ridiculous.
If anything more a non-bargain if these platforms dont add regular new content…..though the irony is the more content seems to just result in watered down quality to the point it is diahorrea ie the Acolyte and She Hulk etc
I wonder when some these platforms will start to fall over (or even merge) as the current market is over saturated

Oh boy those ancient movies that are over 10 years old. Goodness, what ancient relics. I'm not watching anything prehistoric. The Godfather? An antique. The Apartment? Hoary. The Usual Suspects? A fossil. 2001 A Space Odyssey? Completely obsolete. My TV won't run anything made before this year and that's how I like it.
Yeah I dont understand how any movie on a streaming service is a "deal", I mean, isnt that literally the purpose of a streaming service and what you pay for? I mean, I guess if its a brand new movie hitting cinemas and streaming at the same time or is fast tracked to streaming it could be considered that since its an alternative cheaper way to watch it.
